Clockworkgallery was founded in 2007 as an alternative public exhibition space.

The gallery is situated in one of the "advert-clocktowers", that can be found all over Berlin. These public clocks have a revolving cube on top, from wich two sides are used to display the work.

Artists are invited to produce work especially for this project and to intervine in the public space of Berlin.
